It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

Katie mowed the lawn today under mild temperatures and blue skies.

Later, we took a yard tour.

To the south of the house, which is the brick structure on the right, are plenty of trees.
The Wisteria climbed up into the branches.

Getting a closer look...

...and closer still with my lovely wife.
The Wisteria smells like grape soda or gum.
Also, notice the yellow flowering vines.  Katie says it's Carolina Jasmine.  Luscious.

At her feet are the white flowers of wild strawberries.

These Azaleas are in front of the house that is right behind ours.
(This is behind us from where we took the pictures above.)

The one on the right is all pink.

The one on the left has at least three different colors on it.
There is dark pink, pink and white with pink blooms.

Here is a close-up of the dark pink flower.

In front of another neighbor's house at the access road is white Wisteria.

It is truly a wonderful day in the neighborhood.

The azalea is *so* weird...I don't think it knows what color it wants to be :). I hope to miss these some day :)

Everything looks so pretty. I love it when things grow wild and mix up with other things... like your wisteria!

Yes it is! I am in Charleston on vacation right now. Seeing all of the same things. Shared the Middleton Plantation Azaleas on Instagram today. :)

So wonderful to see all these gorgeous blooms! I have a wisteria, but it is yet to bloom....I wonder if I need another one for pollination - I'll have to look into that. The scent you describe sounds so pretty. Once, I had some Jacob's Ladder that had the same scent - I called it 'purple popsicle'- haha. Looks like you live in a little paradise. Strawberries blooming at your lovely wife's feet and yellow jasmine, too. Thanks for reminding me that spring is just around the corner <3 ! Thank you for stopping by and for your fun comment! xx

I love Wisteria and Azaleas. I don't have any in my yard but I love seeing them driving by others yards.

Lovely! Your descriptions of everything just added that extra layer of icing on the cake... er, Wisteria. We live in the woods so we don't get too many flowers, but the ones we do, super special! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week.

Why hello there, dear bloggy friend, and thank you so much for all the sweet comments over on my blog! I appreciate them so much :) So wonderful to hear that you and your wife also craft together!! I wish my hubby was a more frequent visitor to my craft room - although I sure am glad for any time we can spend together creatively. It's such a great joy to share hobbies together, isn't it? Thanks again so much for all the love! Many hugs!
